This is a new recipe for our family! It comes to us from our friend Gayle Dunphy! Thanks Gayle for sharing this recipe with my family and with our Behind Our Doors friends! It is very simple and tastes delicious! Our family would recommend adding it to your Easter dinner!
Note: the recipe calls for chives but I did not have any so I left them out. It tasted fine without them but I think it’d be even better with the chives!
Cheesy Potato Casserole
- 1 2lb. bag of southern style Oreida hashbrowns
- 4 cups grated cheddar cheese
- 1 16 oz. container of sour cream
- 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 stick butter
- chives to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Except the butter, mix all ingredients thoroughly in a large bowl.
Spread in a 9 x 13 inch pan.
Than cut the butter into pieces over the top spreading evenly.
Bake at 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Enjoy!
